Merciful Aid Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2019 to uplift poor and vulnerable communities in Uganda’s Eastern Region. Inspired by the vision of Mr. Kafeero Sulaiman, the foundation was established to address the severe poverty and high illiteracy levels affecting Muslims and people of various faiths in districts such as Budaka, Butaleja, Kibuku, Butebo, and Pallisa.
We are dedicated to providing essential support including food, clothing, medical care, shelter, education, clean water, and the construction of mosques to bring places of worship closer to the people.
Our mission is to strengthen communities, restore dignity, and improve living standards by mobilizing resources both nationally and internationally. As we grow, we aim to expand our programs to reach other districts in Eastern Uganda and beyond, God willing.
To ensure that at least 80% of needy people gain access to essential basic needs, enabling them to live with dignity and hope.
To reduce poverty levels in our communities by empowering individuals, fostering partnerships, strengthening networks, and delivering effective services that create lasting impact.
